Merry Christmas 2021
Sending you a virtual Christmas card, and a song cover that was recorded 4 years ago but will hopefully bring you a smile today.
Well, another year is in the books, and what a story this year told.
Zach wrapped up his 2nd Master’segree (he’s caught up with me now) and continues to rock the unlikely combination of brilliant AP computer programming teacher with stud football coach not to mention amazing husband and father.
Thanks to coffee and Jesus (not in that order) 2021 saw my business at HammersNHugs.com hire several contractors, publish a digital home and health magazine for women, and sign on with a production company to launch a podcast coming January 1st.
I am grateful for it all.
Gracie’s (9) flair for the dramatics has finally found its place on stage, and she is thriving in her first year of acting and dance at CAVOD.
Her love of sweets is outshined only by her love for people and bedtime chats.
Caleb (7) remains as unpredictable as the Pennsylvania weather. He will work on Sudoku puzzles for an hour and then forget to wear shoes to school.
His questions vary from why a car needs gas when it has a battery, but an IPAD only needs a battery to whether or not his adopted brother will know how to pee standing up. That smile tho.
Despite testing her teacher with a kick to the shins on the first day of school, Lillian (4) has fallen in love with pre-k and actually picked out candy from her Trick Or Treat bag to give to her teachers.
Whether it was a bribe tactic or a genuine gift of the heart, Lily is our independent bundle of sassy and sweet.
25 years ago I sang a song as a little girl at my grandparents’ Christmas party accompanied by one of Lancaster County’s finest pianists.
Fast forward 2 decades to when my grandmother was writing down her funeral wishes and she mentioned me singing this song.
I gathered some of our dearest friends and surprised her with this recording, one, because why wait until a funeral, and two, I would have never made it through live.
Even my sweet mother who HATES to be on stage joined in to sing a harmony part.

This version of “Mary Did You Know” is no Pentatonix rendition nor does it compare to the original Mark Lowry, but it was recorded with love 4 years ago now (still haven’t needed it for her funeral thankfully!), and I figured why wait to share it at a future funeral when it may bring a smile today.
“The blind will see, the deaf will hear, the dead will live again.
The lame will leap, the dumb will speak. the praises of the Lamb!”
“Mary Did You Know”
This Christmas we pray that Jesus would fill your heart and home with His priceless gift of Hope.
With all our love, The Fulmer Family
