Coffee, Conversation, and Christmas Cookies
It is the weekend, hallelujah! We’ve made it. Join me today for coffee, conversation, and Christmas cookies.
Despite another very busy week – continuing to make progress on the renovations in our basement and tying up the loose ends before my podcast is produced come January 1, 2022, we still had plenty of time for some Christmas fun.
There are the DIY influencers who look super cute with their hair in a carefully messy bun rocking sexy fitted overalls and work boots. . .
. . . and then there’s me.
Showerless, donning rain boots, massive safety glasses, and about 279 layers of clothing because I had to keep running between our frigid basement and the 34-degree night air to cut down plywood for the stair risers. #reallife
Zach is wrapping up the drywall and only has a couple of runs left to hang. Then we have to spackle, sand, spackle, and sand again, prime the ceiling, prime the drywall, and set all the cabinets.
Before Wednesday.
I need another cup of coffee just thinking about it.
Thursday we had our annual family cookie night which has become one of our favorite Christmas traditions. We make SO many goodies. A recap post to come including the recipe list that we make each year!
Earlier this week I shared all of my tips including menus and food lists to host your own fondue party like we have every Christmas for 7 or 8 years now. I can’t remember how many it’s been!
