Protein shakes are not meant to be desserts with a little bit of protein sprinkled on top, but it doesn’t hurt when they boast 30g of protein and still taste as good. This strawberry protein shake tastes like strawberry shortcake but without all of the empty carbs.

Strawberry shortcake is one of my favorite desserts in the world. My favorite recipe is strawberry shortcake deluxe, but for a quick last-minute dessert, this easy shortcake recipe is a winner every time.

Bottom line, my very favorite protein is Orgain Clean Whey. And my favorite hand blender? This immersion blender is from Amazon Basics. It is surprisingly budget-friendly for how heavy-duty it is. Pump it gently up and down in a large wide-mouth mason jar and it results in a deliciously frothy, creamy shake.

Bon appetit!
