Did you know that protein is the MOST important macronutrient (carbs, fats, proteins) to consume in order to build lean muscle and lose fat?  My clients frequently hear me say that “fat loss happens in the kitchen and muscle tone happens in the gym.”  And protein is the name of the game for both! Clients learn lots of strategies to hit their individually calculated macronutrient goals (a formula based on  weight, body type, age, gender, and activity level), but one key strategy if having the right  snacks available.
