Healthy Meal Plan #71 & Mother’s Day Fun
Happy meal plan Monday!ย When Zach asked me what I wanted to do for Mother’s Day this is what I told him . . .
. . . I want to lay on the couch all day.
Forget flowers and chocolate.
I enjoyed a workout Saturday morning, got a couple of things checked off my to-do list, and then from 12p – 6p I lay on the sofa and read books on my kindle and watched a tv show on Netflix while my kids waited on me hand and foot.
It was glorious.
The girls and I had a sleepover in my bed both Friday and Saturday night. Two years ago I started watching the “Little House On The Prairie” tv show with Gracie in my bed and then she sleeps over.
This weekend Lily joined us, and it is a good thing both girls love cuddling because they practically slept on top of each other all night. Ha.
If you read my Saturday coffee chat post then you know Lily is the reigning champion of card matching games. It’s terrifying how her little mind works.
Sunday after church we spent the day with Zach’s family which included not only celebrating his mother but his grandmother as pictured above showing everyone up in baseball.
87 years old and she crushed the ball on the first shot.

I love games but have never enjoyed cornhole. I don’t know why. And some people have never heard of cornhole which surprised me! Is cornhole a popular game in your area?
Had to include that smile. She’s one of the most stubborn and frustratingly bright 4-year-olds I have ever met, but she is also one of the cutest. I enjoyed lots of snuggles with this one.
A Mother’s Day well spent.
