Meal Plan #80 & A Sailboat Race
Happy meal plan Monday!ย This weekend was all about family including a multi-generation family reunion with a sailboat race in the park.
I arrived home from the spa getaway in the mountains with my sister on Friday in time to spend a couple of dedicated hours with my kiddos.
Including a trip to the library and the park wherein, Lily insisted she wear her dress-up heels.
Caleb kept rocking his chair while reading, and I was waiting for the moment he wiped out backward. When he reads the world fades away, and he is completely oblivious to anything else. I have lost count of the number of times he has fallen off of a stool, bench, and chair because he’s distracted. He didn’t this time!
This girl loves to dress up. I could do a montage of her creative outfits over the years, but she wears them with confidence so what can I say.
Her current pajamas are an Owlette costume from the show PJ Masks. She wears it to bed every night.
After a couple of hours with my kiddos, I headed to a girl’s night with our Sunday School class to love on and pray over our sweet friend who is moving to Indonesia with her family. Indonesia is now officially on our travel list!
My mom’s family came in for the weekend to join a large multi-generational reunion in the park.
The kids all made sailboats for a sailboat race down the stream in the park.
Cousins!
Lily insisted on two sails for her sailboat that went in the water. Go big or go home.
Three generations are represented here! My grandmother, my mother, and my daughter.
You’ve never seen so many adults cheering on paper boats.
After the race I found Lily on the bridge hiding.
She told me she was hiding from the duckies because they are scared by kids.
Her primary aim, however, was not to hide in consideration of said ducks but was in fact to hide so that she could jump out and scare them. Ha.
The face of rascally cuteness right there. Send help.
Sweet boy.
Gracie was practicing her back hand spring with Gram.
I hope you also had a delightful weekend! This week Caleb has a football camp and Gracie has a performing arts camp, so I have to run, but here is our healthy meal plan for the week!
