Happy Saturday!
As I am writing this I can see the ocean and the waves out my window.
We are wrapping up our Fulmer family vacation in the Outerbanks.
Despite rain for the majority of our time, we have spent more hours laughing than we have mourning the fact that the sun seems to have taken a vacation from life the same week as we did.ย ย
They say that necessity is the mother of invention which means we have spent a lot of time creating our own fun.
Cornhole from the 3rd-floor balcony, Mafia until 1 in the morning, charades, pickleball, basketball, and lots of games mixed with just the right amount of serious late-night conversations.
As someone who loves her sleep, you know itโs a good week when I play games or talk life until 1a several nights in a row.ย ย
I will take that any day over a great tan.ย
Here at Hammers N Hugs, we started out the week with this Healthy Weekly Meal plan.

Meanwhile, I’m about to go back to packing for a trip to the lake…..have to grab every last minute of summer before it’s gone. Have a wonderful weekend!

Ooooh a trip to the lake?! Is there room in your bag for me?! ๐
We too were at OBX. we tried to make the best of the weather as well!! By chance did you have colored t shirts on with a map of USA on the back. We visited the Wright Bros museum and read the backs of these tshirts
Oh how fun!! It was my first time there, and I loved it despite the rain. Friday was really the only nice day. No that wasn’t us, but the shirts sound interesting! Haha.
