Coffee & Conversation
Itโs the weekend! PTL!
Grab a cup of coffee. Wrap yourself in a blanket. And letโs take a look at the week in review including some of my favorite blogging findsโฆ
Happy Saturday!
3 DAYSSSSSS until my big news, and all the fun things that are coming your way here at Hammers N Hugs! I have spent HOURS this week in meetings, consultations, reviews, and approvals.
We are ready to go, and I can’t think of a better way to celebrate my 3rd blogiversary than to be able to announce this launch!!
It is going to be so much FUN.
Thanks to COVID and quarantine we spent a lot of time together these past couple of weeks. There were some sweet moments like when Lily wanted to hold my hand while I was working on the sofa.
To be clear there were plenty of not-so-sweet moments as well. Ha. But we made it. Kids went back to school this week, and we are grateful to be back in a routine.
In addition to all the craziness behind the scenes this week, I got to share two of my favorite sweet treats on the blog.
Delicious and minty, this homemade Mint Cookies And Cream Ice Cream recipe is our family fave!
I love all things peach, so it’s not hard to get excited about a peach recipe but this Easy Peach Cobbler is one of my very favorites! Served warm with a heaping scoop of soft vanilla ice cream, and it’s a winner every time.
Yesterday I shared an update to the post I wrote last December on How To Get Featured In A Magazine. I submitted a pitch to 4 popular home and garden magazines, and now I have an update! Click HERE!
Now let’s check out some amazing finds from the blogging world this week!
This DIYย Halloween Cheese Boardย is simple to make without cooking and looks so festive!
When the weather is changing and the leaves are falling, itโs the perfect time to plan some fall date nights.
This cinnamon swirl donut bread looks like the perfect sweet breakfast to whip up this weekend.
This pecan butterscotch mug cake is like having your favorite pecan pie, but WAY easier.
You must see the “after” of this thrifted sideboard makeover! It goes through an amazing transformation with charcoal grey paint!
I’m also inspired by this wine and coffee bar makeover – another thrifted piece that gets a totally new look.
I definitely need to make this chocolate chip pumpkin bread ASAP.
Have a great weekend!
