Coffee Chat & DIY Lava Lamps
Happy Saturday! Join me for a coffee chat on the blog and a look at the week in review including Lily’s DIY lava lamp.
Lily made a lava lamp at school, and she was so excited to show me how it worked.
Here is how you make a DIY lava lamp.
- Fill the a container 1/3 of the way with water.
- Fill it the container almost the rest of the way with vegetable oil.
- Add a few drops of food coloring.
- Break an alka-seltzer tablet into a few small pieces and drop them into the container.
