Coffee Chat & Home Staging
Happy Saturday! Grab a cuppa jo and join us for a fun look at the week in review including some before and after home staging pics!
What a week it has been.
Although there have been several relaxed moments like this one snuggling on the couch watching a movie together . . .
. . . or this sweet scene I captured before school . . .
. . . it has been more of a chaotic hustle than not.
And this is why! As of this weekend, our house has officially been listed as COMING SOON.
Our last two fixer uppers – the Vintage Victorian and the Colonial Foreclosure – I sold myself which you can read about HERE.
In this market, however, we enlisted the help of a friend to represent our house, and this week was the extensive process of staging our home for the listing photos.
The #1 tip to selling your house is taking the time to stage beautifully for the photos! A potential buyer will spend more time looking at the photos than looking at the house itself during the brief time they walk through it.
PRIORITIZE THE PHOTOS.

Below I captured some before and after examples of staging.
The family room.
Our breakfast nook.
The coffee bar.
The kitchen.
And another view of the kitchen!
As you can imagine our basement is finished, and I cannot wait to show you the final reveal!
It is just as I hoped it would be. Stay tuned!

As it happened I was also blessed to be on Jason’s podcast, Talking To Cool People, and apparently, I made the cut. Haha.
This was such a fun interview. I shared something I nerd out about, my most irrational fear, the 5-minute message I would give to the world, the traumatic childhood experience that made me determined to avoid a medical career (funny thing that), and so much more.
