It can be so difficult working from home at times because of the influx of little coworkers I receive over the summer months. This particular summer coworker decided she wanted to earn some money, so she could buy “nuhrds.” She emptied the dishwasher, put away dishes, folded clothes, emptied laundry baskets and earned herself $1.99. PJ Mask costume, backward sandals and all.
Just a little light summer reading to start the day.
It has been fun watching the kids play games together this summer. Lily is finally old enough to start playing independently, and I will tell you what, she is the most competitive kiddo yet. I guess this is not a surprise.
My two-day virtual conference set up this week looked a little bit like I hijacked the Best Buy electronics department.
My coworker showed up again and wanted to try out all the filters on Instagram. In the middle of my conference of course.
But we are not all work and no play! We had lots of fun with friends and family this week including dinner by the pool.

This is truly a Lancaster County view if ever there was one. But why are our covered bridges always painted red? Does anyone local know the answer to this question? We were surmising that there must have been a massive paint sale on this shade of red about 50 years ago.
Guess who got invited to her first musical? This little cutie got an acting contract after her very first audition!
I transplanted all of my hydrangeas from our last house, and I am so pleased with how well they have been doing! I cannot wait to get these planted at our forever house one day.
