Happy meal planning Monday! Enjoy this week’s healthy recipes and 4 apple cider vinegar hacks that you can use to clean your home without any harsh chemicals.
Apple cider vinegar has strong antimicrobial properties, making it perfect for cleaning almost any surface. Studies show that vinegar can disinfect just as well as bleach! ACV has no harsh chemicals, so its safer for your children and the environment too.
Clean your cutting boards
Cutting boards can be a breeding ground for bacteria. Use full strength apple cider vinegar to wipe down and disinfect your cutting boards.
Create an all-in-one cleaner
Whip up a simple one-to-one mixture of apple cider vinegar and water and you’ll have an all-purpose cleaner that can be used on virtually any surface. From your kitchen counters and appliances to your sinks and tub to your windows!
Eliminate mold and mildew
Full-strength ACV can get rid of any mild and mildew that may be harboring in your bathroom. Spray the area liberally with apple cider vinegar, wait 30 minutes, and then wipe the mold away. Repeat if necessary!
Pour baking soda down the drain, and then follow it up with your apple cider vinegar. Let is sit for 15 minutes and then finish it off with boiling water. (Wear eye and hand protection for dangerous splash back!)
