Healthy Weekly Meal Plan #59
Happy meal plan Monday!ย This weekend I finally built the basement sink and bar top with our reclaimed oak plank flooring.
It was cold, windy, and I had 4 layers on and still couldn’t stop shivering, but THEY.ARE.BUILT.
I am using the same technique that I did for the last basement reno, and this time I promise I will post a tutorial on how to build one yourself.ย ย
It is easier than you may think!ย ย
The sink top and the bar top are built! The next step Is to sand, stain, and finish.
Zach finished spraying the ceiling, and now our open joist basement ceiling is a beautiful bright white which already makes the project feel more finished.ย ย
They turned out as well as I hoped they would.
We are getting so close to the fun stuff which makes it look oh so pretty, and I canโt wait to share lots and lots of before and after pics.ย ย
It wasn’t all work and no play this weekend.
In addition to the basement work and some Superbowl fun, we also celebrated our 4th annual Love Day dates with our kids.
When Caleb was little he called our Valentine’s Day date, a “Love Date,” so for the last couple of years, Zach takes his girls on a date (this was LIly’s first year), and I take my little man on a date.
It’s been such a sweet tradition over the years. Recap Post to come.ย ย
