Happy meal plan Monday! This weekend we went dumpster diving (in our own house) and you can see the basement floor now!
I don’t know about you, but getting rid of things makes me feel lighter and freer. Transforming a closet from cluttered to cleared makes me smile.
Is it any wonder we needed a dumpster?
Every time we sell a house I inevitably have one of these moments where I’m ready to pitch just about everything we own and start over.
Zach and the kids know to batten down the hatches when I’m in one of these moods because nothing is safe.
In order to finish the basement floor we needed to purge, so we decided to go through the whole house while we were at it.
Ready for some fun, quick cleaning?
Swipe the bar to clean the basement floor!
Check out that ceiling! I will do a full tutorial on how we created our open-joist basement ceiling.
I will also write a post on how to design a full bathroom in your basement. It’s easier than you think.
Can’t wait to show you more pics of that reclaimed wood bar top!
Now that we have been able to clear the floor the next step in the basement is to lay the beautiful LVP flooring (yes, it finally arrived)!
