Healthy Weekly Meal Plan #41
Happy meal plan Monday! I have a BIG announcement coming next week for my 3rd blogiversary, and I cannot WAIT to share it!! Quite a few people have been at work behind the scenes, and ahhhh, I am EXCITED.
STAY TUNED.
Second of all, when did my baby get so big?! I snapped this pic when we were working on Gracie’s piano lessons this weekend, and she suddenly looked so old. Since starting at CAVOD’s performing arts academy this year, she always asks me to sing in harmony with her, and it makes my heart so happy.
This weekend we primed and sealed all the concrete block walls in the basement, and they are ready to be painted with SW Silver Strand.
Once the electric is done we will spray the open ceiling white and finish painting the walls.
Gracie helped me cut all the stairs, and then Caleb and Lily lasted about the length of one wall before their paint brushes turned into weapons of mass destruction.
We finished all the primer, but it was too late and dark to snap a pic, so I will share where it’s at on IG this week. We’re getting there. Hoping to be totally done down here by the holidays.
It felt good to be off of quarantine finally and go to the football game again!
There aren’t too many coach’s wives that get to sit in the stands with her father and father-in-law (and enjoy it ๐ Our dads have known each other for longer than Zach and I have been alive, so it’s always fun when our families are together.
The highlight of the weekend though was having our Sunday School class to my grandparentsโ farm for a fall picnic which including kids totaled about 60 people!
This barn is one of the oldest structures in Lititz. Built when George Washington was President.
We have hosted SO many events in this barn over the last 20 years.
Zach and I provided some of our favorite homemade ice cream including a new one I came up with – Pumpkin Pie.
I still have no taste thanks to COVID, but I was told by fellow pumpkin lovers that it was good.
Recipe coming to the blog soon as well as my regular mint cookies and cream recipe and peach colada recipe.
So far the only homemade ice cream recipes I have on the blog are GF/DF Mint Cookies and Cream, and GF/DF Coffee.
This week on the dinner menu we have:
- Egg Roll In A Bowl
- Cheesy Cauliflower Tuna Casserole
- Chicken Fried Quinoa
- Sweet & Salty Easy Egg On Toast With Bacon
- Honeyed Ham Flatbread
