Healthy Weekly Meal Plan #33
Happy meal plan Monday!ย Is it just my house or does it feel like a hot August whirlwind in your house too?ย ย
The summer is always busy for us and then we roll right into the football pre-season which is super exciting because it means Friday night lights are around the corner, but it also makes for a busy fall schedule.ย ย
Zach and I have been talking about how if we want to have a marriage that thrives instead of survives, then we need to spend more one on one time together.ย ย
It is so easy for Zach and I to become like ships passing in the night, so this school year we have committed to at least one date night a month just the two of us whether it be an overnight or dinner together.ย ย
This month our date night was at Tied House here in Lititz.ย It was our first time there, and it did not disappoint.ย They have mostly sandwiches and salads as well as tacos.ย I got a chicken BBQ sandwich that was delicious.ย
Ever since my hometown was voted the โCoolest Small Town in Americaโ a couple years ago, it has exploded with investors trying to get a piece of the pie.ย ย
The upside is there are so many cool restaurants that have come to town, and one of the most popular to date is the BullsHead which is where we went for dessert.ย
Letโs just say Zach may have competition for my affection as I have fallen head over heels for their coffee creme brulee.ย Seriously.ย Whoever came up with infusing coffee into creme brulee has my utmost respect.ย ย
Unfortunately, my meal plan does not hold the same appeal as coffee creme brulee, but here is our menu for the week!
