DIY Marble Side Table Makeover
Have you ever looked for a piece of furniture or a decor item, but couldn’t find one in the color or finish that you wanted?
A hack I have been doing for years is to find what I like on clearance and refinish it myself.
I have been looking for a small marble side table in a rose gold/copper finish with a bottoms shelf but was never able to find what I wanted.
This little table went on clearance at Wayfair, so I bought it and refinished it myself.
You can use my simple 3 step tutorial to refinish a side table!

Materials
You Will Need:
- Aluminum foil
- Painters tape
- Spray paint
DIY MARBLE SIDE TABLE MAKEOVER
1. Tape the edges of the table top.
The painters tape is great for pressing along the edges of the table. Consider using a kitchen knife to push it under the table top between the metal and the stone ledge.

2. Cover the top with aluminum foil.
Aluminum foil is my spray painting hack.
I use this all of the time when refinishing or spray painting because it can be easily molded to any shape.
Mold it to the shape and then simply tape around the edges so the paint doesn’t get sprayed underneath.

3. Spray Paint
From approximately 12 inches away, spray in a sweeping motion.
Keep the coats thin and layer as needed once dry for an even finish.

Looks Great Ahna! Such a great warm color with your brick floor.
Thank you Diane!
Good evening Iโm sorry Iโm not commenting on the item in the post but if I may ask about the floor that is in this post. Itโs super cool and Iโd love to know more!! Thanks for your time.
No worries at all. It’s a reclaimed brick floor, that we cut by hand then mortar washed. We love it. ?
