Coffee & Conversation…In The Cold

Last week we had our Saturday coffee & conversation in Cancun . . . today, unfortunately, it’s in the cold of Lancaster, PA.

<sigh>

Don’t worry though I will be posting sunny pics for weeks to come because it makes me happy.

And a little bit warmer.

We said goodbye to sunny Cancun, Mexico on Wednesday and arrived back in PA uneventfully.

This was the first time flying with all 3 kids, and Zach and I were so pleased with how well they did.

They entertained themselves really well on the plane and kept their shenanigans to a minimum while waiting in the airport lines.

The next time we fly with our kiddos will be to pick up our son from Samoa likely sometime in 2023. We still aren’t matched yet, but that should be happening anytime this year.

We cannot say enough good things about the resort we stayed at, and I promise a recap post chock full of sunny fun and details.

We loved it so much we are hoping to make such a trip an annual family affair after we bring our son home, and our family is settled.

Despite the relaxing fun in the sun, there was still a lot happening here at Hammers N Hugs!

This podcast episode with Lia Valencia Key was so much fun. Lia’s story is truly incredible. From losing all her nearest relations, living in a shelter, and starting from the ground up, she shares insights into what it is like to be homeless and a mindset that makes all the difference.

She is now the owner of her own jewelry line (featured several times by Oprah, BTW), so don’t miss these show notes for an exclusive discount from her store!

I bought Gracie a necklace from her line for Christmas, and she LOVES it. A special gift from mother to daughter which makes it all the more meaningful,because it was Lia’s mom who inspired her to make her own jewelry in the first place.

Don’t miss Lia’s episode HERE. I teared up more than once during her story!
