Today is show 6 and 7 of 8 total shows for the Tale Of Two Cities production. Last week the original writer of the show along with some original broadway cast members and a tour bus of 41 people from New York/Jersey showed up. She gave the show rave reviews and commented on the “broadway quality vocals.”

Gracie has been blessed by this primarily adult cast who have made this a wonderful debut on the stage for her. I will do a more detailed post later on her first professional production experience.

There are still 3 more shows left (2p and 7p today and then 4p tomorrow), so if you are local then be sure to get your tickets here!

Check out a behind-the-scenes preview below.

If you missed the 3 part protein series I did on the podcast, then you want to be sure to check those out, but if you recall in the 3rd episode I promised I would work on some delicious but nutritious protein shake recipes, unlike the faux protein dessert smoothies more commonly found (a protein shake should have no less than 20g of bio-available protein to be called a protein shake). Below is proof that I am working on it, and my VERY favorite so far is the first one. A lemon protein shake. Oh, my word it tastes like lemon pie. I am working on 12 different flavors, so stay tuned because these will all be hitting the blog very soon. So far I have nailed lemon, berry, vanilla, and strawberry…

I also posted a favorite breakfast recipe! Artisan bread soaked in a protein-rich yogurt egg blend and topped with bubbling cheese makes this smokey ham egg casserole recipe a winner.
