Our 2018 Chrysler Pacifica Review
I mentioned in a previous post the dilemma, drama, and demands that came with the entrance of the newest member of the family – our minivan. ย Welcome 2018 Chrysler Pacifica Touring L – weighing in at 28 HWY/MPG with 8 seats, genuine tan leather, ruby red exterior, remote start and rear passenger entertainment. ย
2018 Chrysler Pacifica Review – Stow N Go System
One of the defining features of the Chrysler Pacifica is the Stow N Go System. ย Bottom line, when we want to use our van as a cargo hold we โpullโ a strap and โpushโ the seat, and it disappears into the floor of the van leaving as much of the floor as we want. ย The only caveat to this is that the 8th seat, the center seat in the middle row, cannot drop into the floor. You have to manually remove it.
Or you can stow the seats however you want to create the ideal kiddo configuration. ย
In our case we have Caleb (4) in the 8th passenger seat, Lily (1) beside him, and Gracie (6) in the back.ย (Please excuse the dirty floor).ย The third seat in the middle row is stored in the floor. For now, I like the extra room along the side for quick access and storage. ย I can leave strollers and carriers in the back and still have a big open floor for a last minute roadside pick up – such as a gorgeous antique trunk with a free sign on it (no this was not a dream I had – this actually happened).
I thought it was Christmas.ย Anyway, back to our regularly scheduled program . . .
2018 Chrysler Pacifica Review – Interior Features
I have been driving this 2018 Chrysler Pacifica for almost one year now and the versatility of the seats (243 total configuration options according to Chrysler) is without a doubt still one of my favorite features, but I also love the interior appearance. ย The leather covers most of the front dash and console and is without unsightly faux wood trim. The media console is sleek appearing and with a large touch screen that is easy to use – hands free mode, rear view camera, Android or IPhone auto integration, parking assist . . .ย ย

2018 Chrysler Pacifica Review – Sirius XM Radio
It also came with a one year subscription of Sirius XM radio.ย For this no-gimmicks-kind-of-girl I ignored it as a great marketing scheme that I wasnโt going to fall for. ย Then Zach drove the car, starred several stations which are saved along the top, and now I am hooked. Another one bites the dust.ย I love the lack of typical radio โchatter.โ Just play the music!! My favorite station is Coffee House. Anyone else have Sirius XM radio? ย What are your favorites?
Grocery hooks behind both captain chairs and in the trunk.
Center console that actually fits my large Contigo water bottle. ย
AND . . .ย most importantly, I can even set a mug of coffee in here as well. ย
Integrated window screens on all four rear windows (which we leave up all the time because it keeps the car so much cooler).
Notice the space in the side console for a cell phone.ย Welcome to 2018.
Even with the screen up you can still open and close the power sliding doors as well as put the window up and down. ย
2018 Chrysler Pacifica Review – Weather Tech Flooring
Last note is about our fabulousย Weather Tech flooring. ย
These are laser cut and fit with precision according to the make and model of your car with several color options. ย I figured it would be a lot easier to spray and wipe than have to vacuum . . . and then still spray and wipe. We keep a spray bottle and paper towels in the center console for emergency clean up and makes keeping the car clean (or clean-ish) a breeze!ย ย I absolutely love the Weather Tech floor.ย We got front two seat mats, the main floor, and also one for the trunk.ย So easy to clean, and I don’t have to worry about grime forever sticking on the carpet.
Weather Tech floors are made for many makes and models.ย ย
You can see in the Weather Techย layout where the third seat stows in the floor. ย You simply lift the Weather Tech forward and you can pull a strap that brings the seat backย up out of floor.ย ย
I hear some commotion in the front.
Super cute baby not included with the purchase of this vehicle.
Remote start, rear tv entertainment . . . the list goes on.
AND . . . it is pretty. ย I hoe you have enjoyed this 2018 Chrysler Pacifica review.ย I love my van! What do you love about your van?

What color are the WeatherTech mats that you ended up getting? It’s tough to tell from the photos! I just took delivery of a 2018 with the alloy seats, and I’ve had black WeatherTechs in my previous Odyssey for 3 years and they showed so much dirt and road salt that I want to go with another color if it isn’t going to look weird.
Hi Carla! I totally understand that. I actually got the dark brown because it matched the dark brown leather interior accents but I actually wished I had gone with the tan floor mats. I would agree with you that the darker floor mats show everything. I absolutely LOVE the Weather Tech floor mats but would definitely go with the lighter version. If you had black then I would consider the gray. Hope that helps!!
