#1. Highlights Magazine Subscription

My parents signed Gracie and Caleb up for the Highlights Magazine Subscription a couple years ago, and my kids get so excited when they come in the mail. There are 3 age options – toddler, preschool and elementary school age. I set them at their seats at the island, and they look through them before school while they are eating their breakfast. It usually takes them about a week worth of breakfasts to work their way through the magazine.

#2. Disney’s Frozen Light-Up Sneakers

Gracie got these sneakers for school this year, and she would wear them every day if I let her! She loves watching them light up when she runs and is there a little girl out there who isn’t loving everything Anna and Elsa right now?

#3. Mighty Makers Knex

Caleb got a Knex starter set for his birthday this year, and Gracie plays with it as much as he does! They love creating anything they can come up with, and this set seems like it would be especially fun for most girls!! It may or may not be on Gracie’s Christmas list this year 😉

#3. Hair Wraps

Gracie and I wear those floral hair wraps all the time, and the nylon bow wraps that she just got for her birthday have become her new favorite. They are really soft.

#4. Vokul Scooter

This scooter was on last year’s list as well, but it still got as much use in 2019 as it did in 2018! I cannot recommend these scooters enough. Zach’s parents got the older two kids these scooters a couple Christmases ago, and they have been USED and used HARD. I can’t believe how well these have held up considering the abuse they have taken. Caleb and Gracie ride them up and down our neighborhood side walk almost daily. The wheels light up and there is a brake for the back wheel. The front handle is adjustable.

#5. Invisible Ink Pens

You would have thought Gracie hit the jackpot when she opened these invisible ink pens gift for her birthday. She and Caleb promptly forgot about everything else happening and spent the next hour drawing on each other. They literally go onto the skin clear and then light up with the built in light! Even Lily was intrigued! The perfect stocking stuffer right here.

My girls love nail polish. Lily asks me weekly to paint her nails. She will take my nail file and start “filing” her nails on her own and then ask me to paint them. Ha. When Gracie has friends over at some point they all come down in their princess dresses and ask to paint their nails.

This was true last year as well, but princess dresses seem to be a hit all year every year. It is a guarantee that when Gracie has girlfriends over the princess dresses come out. They also serve as multiple years of Trick or Treating costumes! Gracie’s Elsa dress is definitely her favorite!
