This is one of those functional kitchen items that also has a classic appeal because doesn’t it feel good to have homemade muffins, cookies, cake or pie displayed on a pretty glass stand? But what I love about this stand is that it also functions as a veggie dip tray, punch bowl, chip and dip bowl etc. In our current house this stand lives on top of our microwave, and the kids are always checking to see what baked good might have appeared when they get home from school!

3. EcoVac Robot Vacuum
Wow. Well, I could and should do an entire post on this little guy. This robot vacuum is affectionately referred to as Deebot, and he has become a very important member of our family. Don’t be fooled by the price tag as this vacuum costs hundreds less than it’s iRobot Roomba counterpart. This machine could suck up a small cat. Sorry honey I don’t know where Fluffy could have gotten to?? I have emptied everything from bracelets, marbles, and playing cards from this guy. It has app controls and syncs with Alexa and Google Assistant. At the press of a button, Deebot sweeps up the crunched Cheerios that are scattered all over our kitchen floor while I empty the dishwasher (or sit and read a book, let’s be honest). He can be programmed to start sweeping daily or while you sleep at night. Ever notice how dust and dirt tends to collect around the perimeter of your house near the floor boards or under your kitchen cabinets? #5. Magnolia Table Cookbook by Joanna Gaines’
I am not a huge cookbook fan. My need for quality over quantity mixed with a mild degree of OCD results in a degree of stress over figuring out which cookbook has that recipe I am looking for, and do I really need 5 different recipes for chicken parm? That being said, Joanna Gaines’ cookbook is as delightful a read as it is a cookbook. She talks about her pantry, her cooking staples, and the stories behind every recipe. I have never been a by the book kind of chef and tend to change out multiple ingredients, but as always, Joanna’s sense of home is an inspiration and her cookbook does not fall short. And to top it off the front cover is gorgeous and looks very pretty on my countertop.

#7. Rekucci Women’s Barely Bootcut Stretch Pants
Being a mom for the first time was life changing for many reasons. One of these reasons, however, was an epic realization that stretchy pants with belly flattening panels should be worn always and traditional zipper and button styles should be considered a form of unnecessary tummy torture. When I discovered there were companies who specifically designed pants with this concept in mind for day to day wear I have never looked back. Flattering AND comfortable. Sign me up. These are the best tapers around, and the only ones I use anymore. They burn evenly without dripping and last for hours. I can usually get two “evenings” out of them. They are available in many colors and several different styles.

#10. Life Comfort Super Soft Fleece Bed Sheets
I cannot say enough about these sheets. Why there aren’t more reviews on Amazon actually boggles my mind. Probably because no one using them wants to get out of bed. We call these the “magic sheets” in our house, and since we have put them on our bed the kids always want to have family cuddle time with us now. Gracie and Caleb both asked when they were getting their own set?! Haha. These sheets are also in and out of stock at Costco, so be sure to check there too, but they come in a couple colors in various sizes. I am telling you. Absolutely amazing.
The other day I was looking for Lily who was wandering around with only a diaper on and if anyone else has a 2 year old you know how nerve wracking that is because my 2 year old has been known to remove said diaper on her own. Well, I found her. In the magic sheets! (With her diaper on for the record). With one of my dresses bunched up under her head? Strange child. Next thing I knew – sound asleep in the magic sheets 😉
