Healthy Meal Plan #60 And Basement Reno Update!
Happy meal plan Monday! This weekend I checked a project off of my basement reno list, and wow am I happy with the end result!
For a long time now I have been debating what to do with this basement bar and sink wall. The walls are all painted Silver Strand by SW, but I wanted to add some texture and dimension.
In our last basement remodel I added faux stone paneling in the recessed alcove under the stairs, and it was gorgeous.
I loved the texture it added, but those panels are incredibly expensive, and I wanted to stay on budget.
So I decided to try a faux stone wallpaper I saw a DIY colleague use in her dining room some time ago.
Isn’t her dining room so pretty?!
I couldn’t believe how easy this faux stone wallpaper was to use, and more importantly, how unbelievably real it looks when you step back!
I will get much better before and after pics when our basement is less dusty, but every single person who sees it has to touch because it looks textured.
Just peel and stick wallpaper folks.
I am going to do a DIY tutorial on this product because there is a BIG STEP I almost missed that would have been devastating, and there was no FYI on the instructions that came with the wallpaper.
