Join us for our family’s adventures because it is demo day at our third fixer-upper – the French Country Cottage!
Our tradition on Saturday workdays is to start with breakfast at our local family-owned hardware store’s cafe. #shoplocal
This girl does not come up for air when there is chocolate milk on the line.
These two helped Daddy shovel the walkway.
This girl. If you missed it she discovered this trick during our closing day celebration when we bought the house. It makes rolling carpet very difficult when you can’t stop laughing.
Now time to knock out some walls!!!!!!!!!!!
Ooh that first loud hammer made them jump!
Not so sure about that noise.
Annnnndddd . . . over it. Watch them go!
These two worked hard!
The HammersNHugs miniature construction crew! Mommy’s sweet babies.
This girl right here rocked it. She hammered at those walls ALL day.
Hit her finger with the hammer once, cried a lot, and then picked it back up and kept swinging. She actually showed me how she adjusted her grip to keep from hitting again.
At the end of the day when Zach said it was time to go, Gracie said, “Awwww, but I want to keep working!” #mommysgirl #minime
Caleb quickly turned the dry wall pieces into dragons and let me tell you those dragons had a lot to say all day.
This little peanut pretty much just walked around being cute and using the shovel to push around the dirt.
She actually tried to push Zach off the ladder because she wanted it for herself. I am legitimately nervous for when this child starts talking.
Mommy’s turn!!! Let me at it. I lasted about 10 minutes with that sledge hammer. Felt pretty good though #stressmanagement
And super fun coloring books! My kids LOVE their Melissa and Doug Jumbo Size Coloring Books. The pictures are huge, and they have girl and boy-themed ones.
They are also awesome for traveling because the book almost acts like a lap tray while they color. Find them here!
Done! Now these walls are ready to be taken out.
Follow along with us as we take this outdated 60’s Colonial to French Country cottage beautiful!
