Coffee Chat – Reclaimed Wood Counter Top Progress!

Happy weekend! This week we finished up the basement plumbing, and I finally figured out how I’m finishing the stairs!

I have had significant difficulties determining how to finish the exposed wooden stair treads and the reclaimed wood countertop as the flooring still hasn’t arrived yet.

Grr.

That being said this week I brought down the wooden sink countertop so our plumbers could wrap up the final hookups and realized that the raw oak wood finished accented beautifully against the faux stone wallpaper.

So I went with a matte clear poly finish, and it is fabulous!
