Recipe For Baked Oatmeal (With Protein!)
This delicious recipe for baked oatmeal has a boost of protein that makes for the perfect nutrient-dense breakfast now or frozen for later.
I have been making baked oatmeal for many years.
My mom started us off with her delicious traditional chocolate chip baked oatmeal , and I have been creating variations of it ever since. Blueberry Baked Oatmeal. Banana Cinnamon Baked Oatmeal.
This is the recipe we make on the regular because it is loaded with a boost of just the right amount of protein powder that you won’t even taste.
If you are new around here, then let me reiterate protein is the nutritional KEY to unlocking sustainable fat loss.
We frequently add protein powder where we are able to boost the nutritional density of our food, and our go-to powder (having dried MANY over the years) is Orgain
The Orgain Vanilla Whey Protein Powder and the Orgain Chocolate Whey Protein Powder are always in stock at our house.
Back to the recipe for baked oatmeal – I make the dish, let it cool, and then cut the pan into 15 servings. I place the servings into a freezer gallon bag and put it in the freezer so the kids can pull out a piece as they need for breakfast.
With 9 grams of protein per serving, this recipe for baked oatmeal is an easy and delicious ay to start your day!
Bon apetit!

Wondering why you combine rolled and quick oats.
Great question. It will work with either but the quick oats alone makes it more dense and dry and the rolled oats alone don’t tend to “stick together” as well. But to be clear you can do either one! Thats just the best combo Ive found.
