Meal Plan #110 & Salt Hacks
Happy meal planning Monday! Enjoy this week’s healthy recipes and 4 salt hacks you can use around the kitchen – from cleaning to making cooking even easier. Salt is not just for adding flavor!
Freshen your garbage disposal
Do you have an unpleasant smell coming from your garbage disposal? Just pour 1/2 cup of salt down the disposal, run some cold water, and start it. The salt will dislodge stuck on food and neutralize those odors.
Erase tea and coffee stains
If your mugs have pesky tea and coffee stains, you can easily scrub them away with some salt. Sprinkle your salt onto a sponge and rub in little circles on your stains. If the stain persists, mix the salt with white vinegar and continue to scrub.
Shell hardboiled eggs easily
There is a secret to shelling hardboiled eggs without them crumbling into tiny pieces! Add a teaspoon of salt to your water before placing your eggs in to boil.
Keep salad crisp
If you need to prepare a leafy salad in advance for a dinner party, lightly salt it immediately after you prepare it. The salt will keep your lettuce crisp for several hours!
Now let’s move on to this week’s meal plan.
