Last Day Of School 2023
Yesterday was the last day of school for my kiddos, and now I officially have a 1st grader, a 3rd grader, and a 5th grader.
For some reason, it’s the 5th grader that gets me. In a lot of schools, 5th grade is considered middle school, and although our middle school doesn’t start until 7th grade, I FEEL like she could be in middle school.
We had fun singing a duet for CAVOD performing arts fundraiser for their brand-new building coming in Manheim! I am super excited as it means less drive time for me. (insert all the praise hands)
Taking our roles very, very seriously.
Only one week until these two love birds tie the knot. Prayers appreciated that all 3 of my children wake up on June 11 feeling like their best, happy, picture-friendly selves. Ha.
This cutie has year one of 13 in the books. Her God-given precociousness has created a behavioral challenge on more than one occasion, and we are so grateful for compassionate, patient teachers who have loved on her while offering constructive correction.
That face. So cute. So ornery. I am glad she is mine.
Gracie had her 5th piano recital this week, and I loved her little practice chart with hype-up message.
Mr. John has been a family friend since I was Gracie’s age, and we are thankful for him. Gracie still has her dance recital, acting showcase, and musical theater showcase to wrap up, and then I will post a fun YouTube compilation video.
Summer here we come! Are you out of school yet?
