Girl Joan of Arc Costume

Healthy Meal Plan & Gracie’s Baptism!

Happy meal plan Monday. This weekend etched a special memory on my heart as I had the privilege of baptizing Gracie.

This girl had a big weekend.

She ended the week with a presentation on Joan Of Arc which apparently consisted of 11 paragraphs instead of the required 4-5, and one of her classmates said it was “super-long” but interesting.

FAther daughter breakfast

Dad and I had an overdue father-daughter breakfast at one of our local favorites – the Brickerville House.

Yes, their pancakes are the size of a large plate.

My favorite? Their gyro omelet and the Cinnabon pancake. Absolutely delicious.

Sister Run

Lots of family time this weekend. My sis and I went for our weekend run and have started planning our summer getaway. We have decided to go to San Diego, CA.

Neither of us has been, and we need all your suggestions! Where to stay? The best places to eat? What should we do? Please tell me in the comments!

Basement painting

Our renovations have officially passed inspection, and now it is time to make the basement remodel pretty.

Woohoo!  This is the fun stuff.

It is a little strange because we are selling it in a couple of weeks so the staging wonโ€™t quite be to my standards in the spirit of efficiency, but I am excited all the same.ย ย

Boy Watering Flowers

My sister and I weeded the front flower beds, and I decided to transplant two of my largest white hydrangea bushes into the large planters I have to take to the rental house. We will see how they do!

Gracie's Baptism

Without a doubt, the highlight of my weekend was baptizing my baby girl.

I will do a separate post on her baptism and include her story because there is little more precious and encouraging than hearing a genuine word of hope from our children.

I was honored to join our pastor in baptizing Gracie surrounded by friends and family that have shown her the love of Jesus better than any sermon ever could.

Whew. The tears have started even as I type this.

Move on, Ahna. Another day. Another post.

Here is our healthy meal plan for the week!
