Sweet and salty these easy chocolate chip bars with peanut butter drizzle are a great way to use up a box of cake mix.
These bars are really easy and really yummy. They are a great way to use up an extra box of cake mix from the pantry, and they take about 10 minutes to prepare.
They can be made ahead of time and even frozen with the peanut butter drizzle on top.
Perfect for a last-minute get-together or unexpected company these bars can also be made ahead of time and frozen until ready to serve!

Mix the peanut butter drizzle in a bag.
Cut off a small corner and squeeze the glaze onto the bars!

Easy Chocolate chip Bars With Peanut Butter Drizzle
Ingredients
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 2 eggs
- ½ c butter softened
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 bag semi-sweet choco chips
Peanut Butter Drizzle
- ½ c powdered sugar
- 3 tbsp 1% milk
- ¼ c creamy peanut butter
- Dash of salt
Instructions
Choco Chip Bars
- Mix the cake mix, eggs, butter, vanilla and choco chips together. Place into greased 9x13 pan. Bake at 350F for 20 mins.
Peanut Butter Drizzle
- Mix ingredients and pour into small freezer bag. Refrigerate until ready to use.
- Do not place the drizzle on the bars until the bars have completely cooled! Snip a small corner of the bag off with a scissors and squeeze the drizzle on top of the bars as desired.
