7 Design Ideas for a Basement Remodel
Do you have plans to renovate a basement in the future?
When we remodeled the basement of our second fixer-upper, the Colonial Foreclosure, I redesigned the layout to add a bathroom, a craft room, and a bar to maximize the space.

Our current fixer upper, the French Country Cottage, as it stands right now is approximately 1450 sq ft of finished living space.
Our goal next year is to finish the basement which will bring the total living space to approximately 2000 sq ft. This will make it much more marketable when we are ready to resell.
I will apply the exact same design approach to this basement as I did the first time, and I already know the exact layout I have in mind!
I am excited to get started on some real renovation work again.
If you could design one element into your dream basement what would it be?!
