OUTSIDE
Landscaping clearly needs a little love.
Love the stone wall. If you can call it a wall.
Maybe a linear pile of stone would be more appropriate.
These bushes look like a hair toupee or a sumo wrestler decided to sit on them. Either way the squished bushes need to go.
Pretty red burning bush on the corner. I like how it frames the house.
Not exactly my big columned porch dream house but we are getting closer!

INSIDE
Come on in! Please excuse the dust. This place has not been lived in for over a year.
The front entrance feels a little tight when you first walk in. Coat closet door on the right needs to goโฆ
Keep an eye on that skinny oak plank flooring. There are all KINDS of things you can do with this stuff. My neighbor ended up giving me all of his oak planks as well after he saw what I did with ours.
Hallway half-bath. Letโs check inside. I apologize right now if anyone has a seizure disorder. These walls may induce one.
BAM! Love me some pink sponge-painted walls.
Ok, letโs go to the kitchen. It actually hurts my eyes a little.

KITCHEN
Here we are!
Solid oak kitchen cabinetry.
Just about as bland as it comes. If the heart of a home is the kitchen, then how does one know what is worth โredoingโ and what is worth โreplacingโ in an investment home? Stay tuned for this French Country style kitchen renovation and some tips to help answer that question.

BREAKFAST NOOK & FAMILY ROOM
View from the kitchen to the breakfast nook and the family room.
.
The laundry closet is in the kitchen. Door to the left to the basement and door to the right to the garage.
.
Here is a closer view of the family room. Sliding doors to the back yard. I found my fireplace wall!!
Very unexciting double garage which was too small for our cars anyway. Didnโt people drive vans and SUVs in 1997?
Back to the kitchen. Through the door is the formal dining room which opens into the living room at the front of the house.

DINING ROOM & LIVING ROOM
Dining room to living room.
Dining room.
Notice the very rough popcorn ceiling.
Letโs head upstairs.
