Recipe For Homemade Pancake Mix

For several years now, our family has made breakfast together on either Saturday or Sunday morning.   

Our go-to has been my homemade french toast recipe with fresh fruit, but since discovering the Magnolia Table cookbook we have landed on a new favorite. 

Joanna’s “Best-Ever Fluffy Pancakes.” 

After tailoring it to suit the ingredients I always have stocked in my fridge, I would have to say these are the best pancakes I have ever had.  

Joanna mentions in her cookbook that when she doesn’t have the time to make pancakes from scratch she always has a boxed mix on hand. 

Well, I am pulling a Gaines and DIY’ed a boxed mix out of this incredible recipe.  Who wants a store-bought mix when you can make “the best”?

Recipe For Homemade Pancake Mix

These instructions will fill this 4 qt OXO container with the dry ingredients.

Now I tried mixing the ingredients with my mixer first, but the first batch we made didn’t rise like they normally do. 

In order to blend all of the ingredients pour them a little at a time into a food processor and mix it really well. 

This works perfectly!
