DIY Scrabble Art Frame
Customize and create a meaningful DIY Scrabble art frame for your home using these common household materials.
What is the average lifespan of a game in your home?
Prior to having children I never gave this much thought, but since having kids I have come to realize there is a direct correlation to a game’s survival rate with the number of pieces said game entails.
The more pieces to a game, the less likely it is to survive.
Needless to say, Scrabble was doomed.
Zach and I accepted its demise after a painfully difficult game only to realize by the end that we were missing 11 tiles. #ripscrabble
So I saved the rest of the tiles for a future project, and I love the final outcome!
It’s meaningful, personalized, and pretty.

#1. Remove the glass from the frame.
You can choose to cover the glass instead of the cardboard backing with the fabric, but because my lace fabric was translucent I wanted to be able to expose the cardboard behind the lace.

You can use any fabric lying around your house.

I turned this picture frame set into Scrabble letter art pieces based on our family verses.
Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves.
Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.
Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality.
