Happy Saturday! Grab a cuppa jo and join me for a look at the week in review including a girls party at our at home nail salon.

I am currently in Atlanta, GA for the annual HAVEN Conference – the national DIY/home decor influencers conference.

Yesterday I had the privilege of speaking on how to grow and monetize a podcast.

But before I flew out on Thursday morning we had a jam packed week including Zach and my 11th wedding anniversary! The above pic made me laugh. This is how we roll. A beautiful bouquet and flowers on top of a table I was refinishing in the middle of our rental home’s living room. #reallife

Zach and I went out for dinner, and I was having an extreme case of analysis paralysis. I could not figure out what to wear. Finally, I decided I would go nostalgic, and I wore the same dress I wore on our honeymoon 11 years ago.

Who wore it better. Honeymoon Ahna or 11th wedding anniversary Ahna? 🙂

She was SO EXCITED about the Cor Vitae hair wrap.

No product here. Just the Cor Vitae shampoo, conditioner, and leave in cream. Her curls looked so healthy.

Tomorrow I am flying right from the HAVEN conference to the beach where our family is going to enjoy a much needed vacation for 2 weeks. I CANNOT WAIT. But every year before we go to the beach I treat the girls to the nail salon. This year, for the first time, I offered a nail party at home with my gel kit. I have been doing my own gel nails for years.

Decaf espresso was on the menu. Can I tell you how happy it made my heart when Gracie asked for espresso too? #parentingdoneright

This child required her “coffee” hand delivered.

Lily LOVES doing her nails. She has her own kit that she’s allowed to use (kid-friendly and easy to clean up), so she did her little “toe-ies.”

Cannot wait to see these kiddos again soon. If you’re looking for me tomorrow I will likely be sound asleep on the sand somewhere.
