Mix the eggs, milk, flour, sugar, vanilla and cinnamon in a shallow dish (we use an 8x8)
Set the griddle to 350F. Melt a pat of butter to coat the griddle.
Thoroughly soak a slice of bread in the mixture and place onto the griddle. Add more slices until griddle full. Flip when browned and edges slightly crispy.
Keep the griddle well-buttered before adding more bread slices. Repeat until loaf is done.
Top with fruit, syrup or powdered sugar.
